CODE OF CONDUCT

Human rights are at the very core of our ethos as a domestic manufacturer. The below tenets are the foundation of our philosophy:
-
1. Employment is freely chosen.
2. Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining are respected.
3. Working conditions in our Los Angeles factory where 100% of our garments are made are safe and hygienic.
4. Child labor shall not be used.
5. A living wage is paid to all employees. We do not use the piece rate or engage with any vendors who do.
6.  Working hours are not excessive with a strong emphasis on a healthy work/life balance for all.
7. No discrimination is practiced.
8. Regular and consistently scheduled employment is provided.
9. No harsh or inhumane treatment is allowed.
10. We only work with certified suppliers that can trace their supply chain (for example, where the yarn was grown and spun) and provide the required documentation.
11. We work with local dye houses that adhere to Bluesign™ criteria and recycle their water and chemicals.
12. We use fabric that is certified by industry leading mills and yarn producers like TENCEL™.
-
We are always striving for innovation and a better, cleaner, more enlightened process. We will continue to implement technology, new research, and more eco-friendly practices as they become available to us. In the meantime, we focus on the timeless values of collaboration, fair treatment for all, high quality manufacturing, and honoring our Earth.

Sustainability

Responsibility is our passion. Although we can work with your unique needs, we love guiding our partners towards more responsible options like organic and plant-based fabrics, local mills, bluesign® certified dyes, and eco-friendly packaging. We have solutions in place to minimize fabric waste during manufacturing and can help recycle leftover fabric through a variety of options.

-

We work closely with local mills and can recommend a wide range of sustainable fabrics and trims. Knitting the fabric locally also ensures an ethical and transparent supply chain at every step while saving immensely on emissions and shipping.

-

For us, responsibility is deeply inclusive of people and environment. We are committed to paying a living wage and treating our team members like family. You can read our Code of Conduct here.

Product Development

Our development services are available to our production clients. At this time, we do not offer pattern and sample-making a la carte.
-
Our in house patternmaker can work closely with your design and technical team to achieve the look and fit required. We're old school: we make our patterns flat on paper to ensure precision and then digitize when we're ready for production.
-
Our sample team will make your proto and fit samples and we'll perfect any additional processes (like garment dye or printing) at the sample stage.

Fabric & Trim Sourcing

We work closely with local fabric mills and can coordinate custom fabric development to meet your needs. Our local mill partners offer a wide variety of knits and specialize in sustainable fabrics. For large volume or specialty wovens, we work with trusted importers that have transparent supply chains.
-
We have a network of trim partners that can help with labels, packaging, and trims including custom branded items.
